The company jolted Silicon Valley last fall when esteemed VC Sequoia Capital led its first round of international funding of $30 million.

Publicly-held Groupon recently announced its move to offer a commerce platform with an iPad-based POS for merchants. And who better to heading up that effort than Seth Harris. He founded Breadcrumb, a sales, order management and reporting system for hospitality businesses—including restaurants, bars and cafes. After Groupon bought his business in May, Harris was charged with leading the largest global deal company’s effort to become a major player in the POS market using iPad as the critical component.
